Last stand is an interesting puzzle game in Plants Versus Zombies 2. You will have to setup a defensive line based on the set of plants chosen. In this series of puzzle, the enemies start rushing pretty much at the beginning of the game.

Due to the sun limit and plants cap, you will have to come up with some creative placement of plants to pass the stages. In this strategy guide, we will show you the setups needed to beat the stage and defend your turf against the zombies.

Last Stand I – Strategy for Last Stand 1

Last Stand II – Strategy for Last Stand 2
Plan your defenses and defeat the zombies.
Don’t lose any lawn mowers.

Last Stand III – Strategy for Last Stand 3
Plan your defenses and defeat the zombies.

Strategy for Last Stand 1

Plants Lineup:
Bloomerang, Wall-nut, Bonk Choy, Potato Mine, Cabbage-Pult, Repeater

Zombies Enemies
Mummy Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Buckethead Zombie, Camel Zombies

Strategy
Simply setup two lines of Bloomerang in the back with a row of wall-nut. You should be able to pass the stage without using any plant food. However, feel free to use plant food on the wall-nut to boost defenses or bloomerang to kill zombies faster.

Don’t lose any lawn mowers.

Repeater, Wall-nut, Bloomerang, Cabbage-pult, Repeater, Potato Mine

Zombies Enemies
Conehead Zombie, Explorer Zombie, Tomb Raiser Zombie

Strategy
Like the first one however you have less sun spending cap. Simply setup two rows of bloomerang to defense yourself against the zombies. Use the plant food whenever necessary. Watch out if the explorer zombies get too close to your defensive line.

Bloomerang, Iceberg Lettuce, Potato Mine, Wall-nut, Bonk Choy, Repeater

Zombies Enemies
Conehead Zombie, Buckethead Zombie, Pharoah Zombie, Explorer Zombie

Strategy
This stage is harder of the series. First setup your entire field with iceberg lettuce during opening. With bloomerang plus wall-nut as your defensive line.

Throughout the stage, save your plants food to use on iceberg lettuce. During the zombie invasion, a combination of explorer zombie + pharoah zombie can be hard for your bloomerang to handle. However, with mass freezing of the zombies via plant food powerup, you should be able to pass the stage without losing any units.

In addition, you can consider to buff up your wall-nut as well if they are low on HP. However, with two lines of wall-nut defenses, it is less necessary until your first line of wall-nut defense gets broken.
