Pirate Seas Day 9

Day 9’s challenge is very similar to day 8. The only thing different is that the placement of the deck is now at the bottom. Because of this, you will have to adjust the placement of your plants instead using snapdragon to defend your deck.

Pirate Seas Day 9 Star 1 Plants

Star 1 Walkthrough Guide
This stage is pretty straight forward. Setup the initial sun production with twin sunflowers. In the mean time use Iceberg lettuce + spike weed combo, and spring bean to handle the initial zombie attacks. After setting up a row of sunflowers, work towards getting some threepeaters and repeaters at the top to defend against seagull zombie and swashbuckler zombie.

Use the plants food on the threepeaters to take out the imp cannons if you cannot get to them on time. However, even if the imp cannon explodes with imp rain, your defense is still pretty good to take care of any stray zombies.

Pirate Seas Day 9 Star 2 Plants

Star 2 Walkthrough Guide
This stage plays very similar compared to star 1. The only difference is that you should build an additional 1 or 2 twin sunflowers to make sure that you produce enough to fulfill the sun requirements. Watch out for your defenses and not to build too many spikeweeds or spring beans. With some many sun at your fingertips, you may go plant happy and actually miss the plants count cap.

Pirate Seas Day 9 Star 3 Plants

Star 3 Walkthrough Guide
This is one of the harder stage in day 9 because of the sun spending cap. You will have to conserve all the sun spending. Start the setup by having a row of regular sunflower. Then use kernel-pult plus spike weed to kill the incoming zombies through the deck.

Then you will need to place repeater and threepeater at the locations shown in the pictures. Things will get tough in this stage as your defenses is not enough to kill the imp cannons and you will get swamped by imps and swashbucklers. Your safest bet is to conserve your plant food and use on threepeaters to combat the invading zombies.

In addition, you will also need to use plant food on the spikeweed when the barrel roller zombie is breaking through your bottom defenses. This is a hard stage that will require perfect timing and control on your part.
