Kernel-pult, coconut cannons.

Zombies Enemies
Cowboy zombie, conehead zombie, poncho zombie, pianist zombie.

Strategy
Evenly split up your kernel-kult before the rail road lines. Place 3 coconut cannons on the rail road carts. Your biggest challenge is to take your shot when you can deal the most damage.

Use the plants food on either the kernel-pult to freeze everything, or quickly power up your coconut cannons to destroy an entire line of zombies. As you can see from the screen shot, we actually passed the stage without using any plants food boost at all.

Zombies Enemies
Cowboy zombie, chicken wrangler, prospector zombie.

Strategy
Place the lightning reeds and split peas according to our screen shot shown. Your biggest problem with the stage is that prospector zombies may still blast to your backrow before your lightning reeds kill them. Then you will have to move around your split peas to take them out. Use the plants food on the split peas to quickly kill the prospector zombies.

Alternatively you can also switch out the split peas and some lightning reeds for the winter-melons, if you have it unlocked.

Zombies Enemies
cowboy zombie, conehead cowboy, bull rider, pianist

Strategy
Defending yourself against the zombie bull is key to winning the stage. Setup the challenge with a row. Then place a row of melon-pult behind it. You will have some sun left over to plant anything you like. However they will not do much within the battle.

Move the melon-pult on the cart around the lines whenever you want to add firepower. Use the plants food on your tall-nut to boost their defense against incoming zombie attacks. Your melon tosses will lead you to victory and the star mastery in no time.

Wild West Last Stand — 5 Comments

  1. I have a better solution for Last Stand 2. Put 2 columns of spikeweeds in the two rightmost columns. Use the remaining 500 sun to put in either 5 peashooters or 1 peashooter and 2 repeaters on carts. The spikeweeds will kill chickens, chicken wranglers and prospectors. The only zombies left are the coneheads, who are easy to pick off with the shooters.

    • Thank you I was having a real problem with this level and their solution was not working. Used yours got it on the first try.

      • I won with this guides on the second try, it was holding me up and i had all ready beat the other worlds, including future and dark ages, i still haven’t gotten the secret world though.

  2. I tried the trick above for last stand 2. It took me a couple tries and I needed to buy extra plant foods. Then I found that Randy’s trick is far more easier. What you need is 2 columns of spike weed on the right most spaces and repeaters on the moving carts. Thanks Randy.
